The Larz Anderson Museum in Brookline, MA has been hosting its exciting
lawn events series on the grounds of the museum since 1927and continues
this tradition today. In conjunction with many area car clubs,the
museum hosts over 20+ lawn events during the spring, summer, and fall
including many of its own festivals in celebration of our car culture.

Germanfest XXII Presented by Intercity Lines At the Larz Anderson
Museum, Brookline, Ma. On Sunday September 7, the Minuteman Section of
the Mercedes Benz Club of America and the Larz Anderson Auto Museum are
pleased to present the 22nd annual Germanfest. Registration will open
at 8:30 a.m. and will cost $20, which includes entrance into the museum
for 2 individuals. All registration will take place on the day of the
event. Judging will begin at 11:00 a.m. with "rags down" announced at
that time indicating the stop of all cleaning of cars. Cars wishing to
enter the field but not to be judged may register for "display only";
registration fee applies. No car will be entered for judging after
11:00. Rules for judging in the street class and concourse class are
according to Mercedes Benz Club of North America criteria, which focus
on cleanliness and authenticity of the vehicle. The daily driver class
has been replaced with a Survivor Class. The rules for this class are:
Any model Mercedes Benz, in original unrestored condition 25 years of
age or older. The car must be driven to the event and not bear dealer
or repair plates. Judging is in accordance with MBCA street class
