Plate Pandemonium
Posted On 05/08/08 @ 01:38 PM by bccarguy90
I have noticed a somewhat disturbing trend over the last few months. The market for license plates has been skyrocketing. Most people see the license plate as a piece of metal used by the police to catch you speeding or identify a stole car. But for some, that plate can be an extension of themselves. You may look at me as if I am crazy but this is fact.

For years, people have paid those lovely DMV employees $50 or more to either get a plate with a special design that supports a partic... Read More

Response to the email!
Posted On 05/07/08 @ 05:53 PM by Lehel
I must admit I had no idea blogging would be this enjoyable, and on so many levels, not just writing one but getting the response. Posted On 04/28/08 @ 04:02 PM by GKenns
My Beef This Week: Cyclists   When I started this somewhat-weekly verbal barrage on all things traffic, I said I would stick to things that seemed to the most annoying things on the road in my mind. Old people during rush hour and school buses neglect for any other vehicle on the road are things that I feel are direct sources of traffic that can be changed to reduce their drag on the flow of traffic.   My latest beef, however, is not as much a traffic causer as much as it just pla... Ashley Force first female FC winner
Posted On 04/28/08 @ 01:07 PM by Theresa
Ashley Force became the first female FC winnner this weekend at the 28th annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals.  Ashley won the NHRA Funny Car title.  She beat out her father John Force in the final round.  She had the second quickest time of the day.

“There are a lot of mixed emotions,” John Force said before the final. “I turn off the switch. If I win, that’s great but if she wins, that’s something really special, too. I’m just... Read More
